Educational Philosophy

OUR EDUCATIONAL PHILOSOPHY

  • We believe in balancing academic rigor with nurturing the whole child’s social, emotional, and spiritual well-being.
  • We believe that all students can learn and we strive to highlight strengths and support areas of growth for individual learners.
  • We believe in providing a safe environment where our students can be responsible risk takers, ready to succeed in our rapidly changing global age.
  • We believe in the integration of the core academic skills of reading, writing, social studies, math, and science with the enrichment of specialist instruction in technology, arts, physical education, Hebrew language, and Judaica.
  • We believe that the skills of Jewish study provide students a unique opportunity to develop the skills of independence and collaboration; communication and relationship building; critical and interpretive thinking; and empathy and responsibility toward one another and their learning in all subjects.
