Thank you for your interest in VBS Day School

We are currently accepting online applications for the 2026-2027 school year for grades K-6. We are still accepting applications for the 2025-2026 school year.

Application Process:

Step 1: COMPLETE AN INQUIRY

To begin, please submit an inquiry form. Once your inquiry has been processed, you will be sent an informational packet by mail.

Step 2: VISIT

Private tours are also available by contacting Carrie McSherry, Director of Admissions, at 818.530.4072 or cmcsherry@vbsds.org. 

Step 3: APPLY

Applications are submitted online. Click here to create your lions login account and apply. Please note: You can log out and return to complete the application without losing data before submitting the final version.

If you are applying for tuition assistance, please visit studentfinancialaid.blackbaud.school. There is a $45 fee per family to apply online ($55 for Business Owners). Applications for the 2026-2027 school year must be submitted by January 9, 2026.

Step 4: SUBMIT SUPPORTING DOCUMENTS

The following supporting documents must be received by our admissions office no later than Friday, January 9, 2026. Please either print out these forms and submit them to your current school, or you can send them electronically via the admissions checklist.


Step 5: PARENT/GUARDIAN MEETING AND FAMILY MEETING 

After your application has been received, we will contact you to arrange a parent/guardian meeting with Carrie McSherry, Director of Admissions. A separate visit will be scheduled for your child. These meetings will take place in person.

Step 6: DECISION

Admission decisions will be emailed on Friday, March 13, 2026 at 5:00pm. If applicable, tuition assistance grants will also be emailed at this time. 

Step 7: ENROLLMENT

To enroll your child at VBS Day School, your e-signed contract and deposit are due no later than Friday, March 20, 2026.
