Speech Screening Permission Form

Dear Parents,
 
Early detection and correction of speech and language problems offers the greatest assurance of a child’s future success and well-being. Undetected speech and/or language problems can negatively impact a child’s social, emotional and educational development.
 
For the above reasons, we are very pleased to inform you that we have made special arrangements for a staff member of Speech, Language and Educational Associates to individually screen your child’s speech and language skills. As an initial benchmark, VBS Day School is covering the cost of this screening for students in kindergarten and students in grades 1 -3 who are new to our school this year.
 
The screenings will take place at our school the mornings of Wednesday, January 16, 2019 and Thursday, January 17, 2019. The testing results will be communicated directly to you. No student will be screened without written permission from the parent.
