A Legacy of Learning: Grandparents Powering Innovation

This year, donations made by current grandparents to the VBS Day School Annual Fund will be used to renovate our Science Lab, transforming it into a state-of-the-art space that will elevate hands-on discovery and strengthen science education for every student at VBSDS. Designed with young scientists in mind, the new lab will offer flexible work spaces and storage systems, writable data walls, and access to age-appropriate lab equipment that supports our 5E Instructional Model- ensuring our students are able to Engage, Explore, Explain, Elaborate and Evaluate.
 
All donors who contribute an annual gift of $1,800 or more will be invited to a donor appreciation event in the Spring.

  • Payment Options - Installments, Matching Gifts, and Pledges

    • Payments can be set up monthly, quarterly, or in a single installment.
    • Donors can make a pledge now and pay anytime before June 30, 2026. You may choose to fulfill your pledge in one payment or in installments.
    • Matching gifts through employers are encouraged — many companies will double or even triple employee contributions.

  • Donate Directly Online

    Gifts can be made quickly and securely at vbsds.org/give. Donors can give using credit card, debit card, or ACH transfer.

    Important Note: When making a gift under $3,000, donors will see a blue box at checkout that says: “This platform is powered by Blackbaud at a reduced cost to us. Contribute 9% to them to continue this support.”
     
    The system automatically selects this box. Donors should uncheck this option before completing their donation if they do not wish to pay a 9% processing contribution to Blackbaud.

  • Write a Check

    Checks should be mailed or dropped off to the Day School Office and made payable to: Valley Beth Shalom Day School.

  • Donor-Advised Fund (DAF) Gifts

    Families who prefer to give through a Donor-Advised Fund can do so by recommending a grant to:
